UK100 is excited to invite you to a joint report launch with the Mission Zero Coalition.
UK100 is collaborating with the MZC, chaired by former Minister Chris Skidmore OBE, on this timely report that underscores the critical importance of local Net Zero in the run-up to the local elections. The report builds upon UK100's Powers in Place handbook and the MZC's Future is Local report.
The launch event on Thursday, 18 April, live online from County Hall in London will feature speakers including Christopher Hammond, Chris Skidmore OBE and Izzi Seccombe, Leader of Warwickshire County Council.
Alongside the report, we are also launching a "Taking the heat out of local climate action" pledge that addresses the alarming rise of local Net Zero misinformation and emphasises the vital role of deliberative engagement with communities.
