2021 saw the case for local climate action go mainstream. 93 UK local authorities pledged to meet Net Zero early and the UN recognised the power of local climate action.
And at our July summit, local leaders made the case for greater partnership with government. Three months later, it drew on this recommendation in its Net Zero Strategy.
